Marnia Claunch Wins with Confidence

Marnia Claunch, UCHS senior is a 2013 Walgreens Expressions Challenge Finalist for Visual Arts in the St. Louis area. As a finalist, Marina has the opportunity to win up to $2,000 and $500 for her teacher.

The Walgreens Expressions Challenge is an incentive based program established to engage high school teens ages 14 to 18 in the conversation of healthy choices for their future through creative expression.

These students were selected to perform in the E. Desmond Lee Middle School Honor Band. They have begun rehearsals and will be performing at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6 at the Touhill on the UMSL campus. Doors open at 6 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
